As the title suggests I am wondering what is the plenum bend on the inlet manifold on a vn 5.0l engine. I am seriously thinking of dropping a nice v8 in my girl but i need to think about it a bit first and know a few things about the engine.

about 67mm- 70mm at the flange then it narrows and widens as it goes around the corner

yep about that i never measured it before i modded geoff's but i took his out to 70mm. So unless you modify your neck theres not much point to a 70mm TB.
At the base of the neck it goes to about 60x85mm rectangle sort of shape

Mine had about a half mm lip with a 69mm throttle on it and the flange is the narrowest point. I've ported the neck out once untill the entire neck was very thin and there was no messurable gain
