How Can I Only Get Bass From a sub (X-over???)

on the headunit i hold down the menu button then select X-OVER.

alll the settings are is at what frequency the bass is boosted, so there will probably be 60/80/100/120 hz. the number that says 1/2/3 is effectively how much around the selected frequency is boosted. and finally the numbers 1-9/high are just how much the frequency is to be boosted.
these will have no effect on if the sub is playing bass or higher frequencies.

ok mine doesnt have that setting, probably coz its a cheaper system, does yours have bass engine plus or pro? if so that would be y u have different settings, mines just the plain old bass engine, if it says crossover i guess that would be it, unless its for the speakers not the sub

I've just been trying to get a manual up of that HU, but the site im using doesnt seem to be working. If anyone manages to find a PDF of the manual, post it up and ill see if i can make sense of it
