How can I tell how many were made if possible of VR SS wagon?

Recently bought a VR SS wagon, was wondering if anyone knew how to tell how many were made?

Never heard of one before.

Needs pics.....including build plates.

It's obviously 5.0 litre manual ss on dash SS alloys but no as seats

Apparently until 2002 I think I seen it was possible to choose the build specs, does that sound about right for this car I'm describing

I'd say it's most likely an Executive that was optioned with a 5.0 then someone just put the SS bits on it.

Pretty common practice back in the day as the SS was essentially just an executive with some extra trim and stickers anyway.

If you post the VIN up someone can likely decipher if it's an SS or an Exec for you.
