I'm second owner, it had 181,000 on the clock when I brought it off a old bloke who passed away and he brought it brand new off the show room floor in Tasmania just before Christmas in 1992 and he drove it around for 18years then left it sitting underneath a tree in 2010. it sat for 6 years and I brought it off him at the end of 2016 so honestly who knows where the series II badge has gone but I doubt the old bloke would of taken it off cause it looked granny spec when I first brought it and for a 25 year old car it hasn't let me down so I can't worry to much about the series II badge

Seems like you are worried about it though :p Have you tried eBay or even a wrecker? I'm sure you'll be able to get your hands on one (three if you want to do it properly).

The other two go on the front guards near (above?) the V6 sticker from memory.

The VP series 11(&VR) also has a slightly different Harmonic Balancer and CAS to the Series11 VN & early VP.
I found that out the hard way.

sounds like a classic score. One previous owner and 180,000 on the clock.
When did the V8 front brakes become standard on the V6? S2 VP? Easy to tell the diff with a quick look underneath because the V8 calipers have cooling fins and the smaller braks don't.
