How come my VZ SS doesn't say LSD on the diff?

Well bugger me, I just checked my workshop manual and if you have a manual and the production code on your diff is AX, it is not LSD, just high performance as stated by Surf. If you have an Auto with code ZFF, it too is non LSD.
Manual LSD code is ZFS
Auto LSD code is ZFH

I will check mine tomorrow

Manual LSD code is ZFS
Auto LSD code is ZFH

Reading the manual, it only states the body type and not the model, so where it indicates a vehicle with non LSD with V8, this would be a Berlina or Calais.
I am very sure that my original post is correct and that all SS's came out standard with LSD (I have had 3 purchased new).

If it says high performance diff in pretty sure they aren't the m80 and in fact still a m78.

Take a photo of the tag and post it up.

My calais had LSD from factory

Previous owner probably played swapsies before he sold it. Probably has a nice m80 lsd in his wife's vs v6 Calais now haha!

Lesson learned, always do a skid on your test drive :p
