Hey all,
in the process of adjusting my handbrake, car is on stands, rear wheels are off.
Everyone keeps talking about a rubber boot that needs to be taken off, Ive followed the handbrake cable and it let me to the bottom of the hub with a little rubber boot.
I have tried to take off the rubber boot but man its being a bitch, Am i trying to take the right thing off?
I tried using pliers and ended up just slitting the boot...fml

Everylisting end of problems with my v8 :(

Pic to show what i am trying to get out, just hoping I am on the right track as the workshop manual I have isn't proving super useful.

After slapping myself in the face i figured out what everyone ment :p ha ha!!
Taken off those two little boots on the rotor, when you spin it you can see the adjuster.

How much do you adjust the handbrake adjuster inside the car, after setting the rear?

Adjust it so that it take about 5-6 clicks for the handbrake to be firmly on.

Be sure to back the inside adjuster off first before adjusting at the wheels.
