The rear window is held in with a windscreen sealant. It needs to be cut out. You can use a stanley knife, and cut around the screen, inside and out of the car. You can try and kick it out, but you may break the glass.

To remove the rear quarters, remove the exterior window trim around the window. Then remove the interior trim on the inside of the vehicle (the triangular trim around the window), then undo the rubber/plastic nut things on the window bolts. After that it just pops out.

To take out the rear window I went to a music shop and got some thin guitar/piano wire for a few bucks and take out the rubber trim right out between glass and opening then cut a slot in black urethane with a stanley knife so you can push the wire through so it goes from inside through seal to outside...wrap the wire ends around a couple of bits of small dowell etc and put it between your fingers .....move it back and forwards cutting through urethane working it right around window opening when you get to where you started youre finished and you can take the window out but dont forget to take the heated rear window wires off.
