    Hey guys and girls.

Just need some help with how to get to some things.

1)How do i take out the cluster and get to the front of it, i want to paint the black moulding inside the cluster silver like an international.
2)How do i take out that moulding?
    3) How to i take off the trim around the front side air ducts to paint them
    4) How do i take off the rear air vent surrounds to paint that?

Wanting to paint all these bits silver.
i dont want to paint the actual dash facia, its been over done and not sure how it would look with the wood-grain shifter surround and wood-grain console door thingo.
    Thanks :)

Also one last thing, would i need primer? clear coat? sanding?

    thanksssss
    Will rep best answer :)

1- take the dash fascia surround out, to the top left and right of the cluster there are 2 screws undo them, and then unplug the cluster from the back and slide it out, then plastic window on the front of the cluster just unclicks.

2- once the clear plastic part is out, you can just lift it up.

3- get a flat head screw driver and gently lift them out, there are no screws holding them into the door. and once you have it out, you can take it to pieces for painting.

4- you need to have the whole center part of the dash out, so have fun there :) its a nightmare.

edit: yes sandpaper and yes primer. and also get some wax and grease remover.

if you do not prep your parts, you will not get a good finish with your paint so take your time sanding it all smooth like, then use some wax and grease remover to get all the **** off, then prime, then paint, then clear.

    Thank you so much :)
If it takes that much effort to get the back part out ill just leave it the way it is.

Will go buy some primer and titanium style colour paint.
Would anyone know the colour code of the dash of a international?
