    1. Turn car on.
    2. Search for bluetooth devices.
    3. Choose Vehicle BT
    4. Passcode is 1234
    5. Done!

Being an SV6, I'd be VERY surprised if you didn't have it.

2006 SV6 didn't include BT as standard... It was still an option on the MY9.5 models sold in 2010 so quite possible OP doesn't have BT.

If the phone button is held down for a second and the phone scan finds nothing, 99.99% likley no BT fitted.

you have to hold the phone symbol on the steering wheel when searching for the car from the phone on early series 1's? ( I think)

Just read your owners manual mate. Follow it's steps. If you still find nothing, and youve set your phone to show as a Bluetooth device, then your particular car probably wasn't optioned with Bluetooth. Pretty simple.

low but also even funier when you realise that a recent post by Wongy was about his VE lumina with "bluetooth as standard" that isnt working with his galaxy.

seems they both dont have bluetooth yet only one person paid for it..............lol

    Well played, womble.

Sorry guys. I wasn't being mean. I just find it amusing that even though the SV6 is so much better than the base models, they didn't even make Bluetooth a standard feature...

    Sent from my Galaxy SII.

no worries I thought it was amusing too.................I agree all VEs seem to have the BT phone button, the speaker/mic in the roof and the harness so all that is missing is the module in the glovebox. cost them stuff all to make it standard and save the confusion.

Actually, the mic wasn't included either... At least BT's standard now. At the time, every buck probably counted and GM could get away without BT being standard. I reckon now BlueTooth is about as optional as doors and wheels.

Nothing is there if BT isnt optioned, no module, harness or mic. it utilises the existing speakers, no extra speaker.

Though a few cars Ive fitted BT to have had the mic but nothing else.

Your car being an SS it should have. Follow the instructions in the owners book and see if it connects.
