How do i know if i have IRS

Hey guys
Not that clue when comes to cars but know my bits n pieces:whistling
but my questiion is how do i know if my car has IRS
I have a vp commodore

if it looks like two people on push bikes did them you got IRS :)

I think you're thinking of LSD....

Have alook under the car mate, if its a live axle it will be a big solid housing. If its an IRS rear end, it will have CV shafts.

Looking at the pics of your car id say it doesnt have IRS,they usually have an IRS badge on the radio surround too i think.

When you look at the back of the car and the wheels are not perfectly straight up and down then you have irs.

Sweet, ill have a look in the morning...
last time i looked i think it was straight up

thanks man that helped heaps
mine live axle then cause i changed my tire today and the springs where straight up as in the pic

OK now whats better LOL live axel OR irs hahaha
