Hey terry, I don't recommend mixing subs either. Can get very difficult to split the frequencies between them.

As for a custom boot, you first need to decide what style you want...Totally wooden which is typically clean, neat and quite appealing or fibreglass with smooth lines, a bitch to work with but looks totally awesome! Heres some of my examples...

+1 for not mixing subs... and seems you are going insane on the bass.. do you really need that many? Quality over Quantity.
Getting 1 x sub with 1 x monoblock amp of high quality will dominate over cheap gear in the masses.
Soundstream comp series, Eclipse or Kicker make some great high end subs.
Cadence make some damn good top end amps too.

Filling the boot with JL or VDO cheap subs is pointless and a drain on the car.

With that amount of power requirements have you put in a capacitor and possibly upgrade alternator/battery?
