Hi guys, I want to run a 2nd amp for my speakers because i am currently running all 4 off my head unit and they just dont pump hard enough and i can't hear them with my subs going. So what i am wondering is how do i connect up the 2nd amp cause i only have 2 RCA plugs in the back of my HU. Can i get another set of RCA's connect it to my line out on my first amp and then connect to my 2nd amp? Or do i have to get a 2 into 4 splitter?

    Cheers!

If your first amp has some line out plugs on it then just run from there to the input of the second amp. Or a set of RCA splitters would also work, a few 1 female to 2 male sets.

Normlly a head unit will have at least 2 sets of RCA outputs now. 1 set for rear speakers and 1 set for fronts.

If the speakers you want to power are in the rear you'll be using the rear for the subwoofer, so split them. If you want the front speakers it's best to use the dedicated RCA connection for the front speakers, that way you get fullk control over the fading of the speakers from the head unit.
