It probably sounds a bit stupid, but I have a necklase that I never take off, and I've gotten in the habit of driving with my right hand and having my left hand on my necklase. Weird hey?

If anyone's done defensive driving training in the wet they'll know silly it is to drive without two hands on the wheel at 3 and 9. :rip:

Thank you Jr, The only person it would have been dangerous to was myself in the case of an accident, I new the risks. I drive atleast 3 hours every day, so I need to be comfortable, having back cramps and spasms whilst driving is definitly more dangerous to myself and the other people around me. But its ok caus I wont be driving the VT anymore.

Hands on 9 & 3 but for some reason I still have the habit of resting my hand on the shift, even though I drive an auto now :)

I have done the Level 1 Defensive Driver Course and the amount of difference a properly adjusted seat makes is incredible.

i drive with 2 hands on the wheel depending on conditions, if its a long drive i try to give the arms turns. but i usually hold the wheel low down anyway

Troy711, i dont drive a manual atm, but will be going to manual soon.... I've learned on manual cars for a while and was stuck driving one for a year before my VY, i guess you never loose the habit. On my way to uni today i looked at where my hand goes.... on the handbrake, sometimes on the shifter LOL

i can imagine if this was posted on a ricer forum, the most popular response would most likely be "one hand on the wheel, the other - ripping the e brake"
