How do you remove the glove box? ASAP!

I had a bit of spillage ...I can't work out how to take it off so I can clean it!

look far deep in the drivers side corner of the open glovebox.

there is a black plastic pin there you lever out with a flat blade screwdriver.

it will push back in when you want to put the glovebox back together.

If you cant open the glovebox, removing the pin probably wont help.
You could try from underneath, if you can access the pin from below, with a thin screwdriver, you could try to lever the pin into the glovebox.
You may be able to open the glovebox by shaking the sh*t out of it...
