Hey guys can anyone give me a guide on how to take out the radiator fan and fan motor that is on the closest side to the battery in my vt commodore.
I believe it is blown and I need a new one, I have checked the fuse with my test light and I am getting power past it. I really want to get this done before it gets to summer.

Also would I replace it with aftermarket motor or would it be better to go to a wreckers and find one. Or if you believe I am on the wrong track and its something else, becuase when I start the car, the fan clicks in for about half of a second then stops.

Any response will be much appreciated.
    Cheers

Edit: I also turn on the A/C and only one fan works. And even if I drive for or while or leave it idoling, it still doesnt turn on. Only the one side works

Disconnect the fan and then connect 12 volts directly to the fan wiring and see if it works, just connect it directly to you battery with some wire. If it works then your problem is elsewhere (maybe relay), if it doesn't work then the motor is stuffed.
