How do you replace these window moulds?? in a vt commodore.

Gday guys i have got an vt commodore
i would like to know the proper name of this window mould and how to remove it as mine is very faded and its annoying me.

Why not just mask it off, and spray it with a rattle can ...gloss black is probably a good colour... :eek:

These bastards are the worst! I haven't fixed mine yet, but the plan is to use some flexible filler like SEM multi plastic repair, or U-Pol plast x bumper filler. Then top coat with U-Pol Trim 11 (satin black). The only bit I am worried about is where it has shrunk and pulled away at the top and needs a lot of filling/rebuilding.

I experimented with some old spare ones I had. I sprayed them with that removable rubber type paint that you can get for your wheels. It looked not too bad. But it did show the imperfections under the paint. So would still need to fill it with something before painting.
