[Ecotec] How does the VY PCM cope with big upgrades

I've been reading up a bit on upgrades over the past year, and i've only got a few questions left before i start...

If you were to throw a bigger injector/fuel pump combo in the ol' vy would the standard computer recognise the changes and self adjust? I was going to upgrade these two before i started down the turbocharged path.

Also, after fitting the turbo is it possible to drive the vehicle before going and having to get it tuned? I've heard chiptorque at the gold coast have the VY computer worked out but they're 300km's away..

Any help would be appreciated.

buy the injectors and fuel pump but put them in when turbo'ed fuel pump will be fine to put in now though injectors wont. Yes you could drive it to a tune joint but i wouldnt boost it till its tuned which means going slow not matter how tempting it may be.
