What state are you in. In the N.T. they are valid for 6 weeks. I would be surprised if it is much more than that.

in QLD a roadworhty is just a piece of **** paper for changing the car into the new owner's name..... there's plenty dodgey roadworthys get written in QLD.... gov inspectors here are piss weak too.... all the roadworthy mechanics have to say is...... was okay when I inspected it... driver must have been braking hard and wore down the brake pads.... or worn down the tryes from burnouts... or was cornering hard and wore down the tyre edges .... the list of excuses goes on and on...... and they get away with it..
