hey all atm im runnin king supers in the front and king ultra's in the rear i dont mind how the front sits but still not happy with the rear, im thinking of compressing my ultras 1inch down and run short stroke shockers and adj panhard rod. also i need to redo front cause left bearin plate is stuffed. should i run ultras in the front and will it lower much more than the supers?? cheers
take one of your ultra lows, cut it quarters and put each quarter for each corner of the car..... or compress your springs compress the supers man, hakhawk runs ultra's and they arnt much lower at the front so compress em
if i replace with new rubber strut tops will i get a huge rise ? and how much can u compress the fronts and rear be4 i start running into problems?
u will get a rise of about 1-2cm with new tops., but also depends on how bad old ones are. not sure how far u can compress springs before problems, but obviously when it starts bottoming out too much ur in trouble.
I have ultralows in the front... I'll get you some pics... Why go lower in the rear though? It looks like one of 2 things... Either you have very old saggy springs in the rear or you have chopped your rear springs. Plus its bad for the handling of the car as well.
Remembering these are Lovells Ultralows, slightly lower than the King Spring version...Had some issues with scrubbing on the front guards, but a home rolling job fixed that, though it still happens on steep slopes where i go sideways cause of the kit... But they are 245 tyres also, so smaller tyres probably wont have the same problem. Pics:
vn2nv, you should change the pic in your sig to an updated one with the rims it has?, had? on in those pics. They look ten times better.
I want to, and I took a pic like the exact same but with the new rims... But my camera wont let me upload the pics to my laptop
hey all, just need some closure on a question... attached is how i want the rear to sit, atm this is 1.5inch below wat it is now. i need to know will short shockers be ok an d wats the likleyness of the spring to fall out? wat else do i need to do for it to be safe?
You're not talking about cutting the springs are you? Looks just like Lovells Ultralows to me, same height my car used to sit at at the rear...Maybe even lower.
