My VT got to 467,000km before I sold it.

Problems that it had, power steering pump, idler pulley. Otherwise just normal stuff, belt, plugs, filters when required.

VT Calais L67 (conversion)
roughly 156.000 kms

I got this L67 engine from the wreckers.... according to them it came out of a 1998 VT with 154.000 km on the clock... I'll have to take their word for it :D

Havent had any major problems.... did a LIM gasket and thermostat had a leak. And its a bit hard to crank when cold, think the EFI module might be on its way out. But other than that runs like a dream and does good power.

my VX has got 360,000 on it now, my folks had it before me since 70,000 and in its life before me its had pulleys once and just regular 8-10,000 services been strong over the years, still pulls strong i can beat my mates VT which has 145,000 on the clock both autos so i dunno whats going on there i guess it goes to show looking after the motor all its life can be better than one that has not with half its age.. When it came into my name for RWC however it needed V gaskets, Engine mounts, And power steering pump was a bit worn so it was replaced, ALL belts and pulleys again. :)

Edit: It seems pretty good, little bit flat around 2.1-3.2k RPM but not bad.. but with this kms im wondering how long will it keep going before i run into problems? Meh.. ill just get another motor for it anyways if it dies :).

VT Exec, just clicked over 450,000,all original drive train,no weird noises or oil usage.I just replaced all suspension except for springs cos the car feels like another 450,000 is not out of the question. The car's been really well serviced and has never been flogged.

Mines only just ahead of you aswell mate :spot on: mine is about 40 off 286,000 and i just fitted my 1.98's and memcal. On the downside ive only owned it since 240k, the previous owner blew the headgaskets because he was a moron and when the heater tap burst he just kept driving with steam pouring out. My dad sold it to me after he rebuilt the top end. Ive gotta replace the LIM gaskets again so it'll be MACE items for them. and P/S pump needs replacing. Other than that goin real strong!!
