girlfriends 96 series 2 VS BT1 (was mine) water pump replaced, converter replaced apart from that been a really good car and still is. only got 183000kms on it

hey, my vs calais sII is approching 230,000 k.
Its wierd how the amount of k's varie so much from vr to vs.
Sure you haven't wound the clock back just a little guys???

driving a 93 vr executive has done 207.000 ive had it for about a week nothing wrong yet(touch wood) although it is running abit rich

275 thousand k's on my 1996 VS ecotech V6 engine, runs perfectly.

182k on a 96 VS. I bought it a year ago from a little old indian lady, so the poor thing didn't know what hit it when I got my hands on it.

The only drama Ive had though is the aircon.

mine on about 400 000 clock brock at 295000 only one major problem spun a cam bearing at 180 000 replaced the engine wastnt hard ta fix the othere one though in the end

That happened to mine too! It happened at 164,000 on mine. Rebuilt the motor and have since only put about 2500kms on the motor. So my car has 166000 on it, but 2500 on the motor.

(its a 97 VS by the way)
