How many litres of brake fluid does a ve take ?

I'm in the process of changing my brake fluid in my ve s1 omega to some motul 600 brake fluid.

The brake fluid comes in 500ml bottles so how much will my car or any ve take ? Ill buy a bit extra as i want to flush all the old fluid out and have all fresh stuff in there.

When I changed my rotors I was advised by GSL that 1 litre would do it. I flushed it through until it looked clear (silly me got the same colour as was in it) and ended up only using 500ml. So I'm guessing I didn't get it all through, but did use all 500ml. Therefore I'd buy at least 1 (half might not be enough, and I'd hate to be short), and would think that 1 is enough. Should have some top up left over.
To be honest, I didn't tell them I was going to change it. But I assumed everyone does, so that's what was meant.
