   well this is a basic question,
   
   how much brake fluid is in the complete brake system on a early commodore???
   
   i assume the vb-vl all have the same pipes etc and contain the same volume

   about 1 litre .... so if you buy 2 500ml bottles you should be sweet. If you are starting off empty you might want an extra bottle cos you will use a bit more to bleed the system.

   yer it should be completly empty,
   all calipers were off, master cylinder/booster was off
   
   so ruffly 1.5ltr or 3 of there 500ml pbr bottles

   didnt think anymore than 500ml was in a brake system, same with clutch.
