2 to 4K Depending on how well looked after the rest of the car is, most of the VS utes are around 6-7K so if the body is in good nick, suspension ect the yeah should get a decent amount for it!

You wont like it but a VR ute with a blown engine, no reg or RWC would be very very lucky to get $2000.
Think about it from the buyers perspective....all the hassle of finding and installing a motor, then obtaining a RWC which could cost $???? as against buying a goer with RWC for $5000. Throw in all the variables of a ute you cannot roadtest like clutch/gearbox/diff/suspension.
The number of buyers prepared to buy this sort of deal is very small. They are sharp buyers and know how to shake a good deal.
So....if you want to get the max you really should instal a running motor and sell without a RWC as this will bring the value up to at least $4-5000.
But thats just my opinion. Good Luck.
