    VZ SSZ ute
Hey, new here so got no idea how to use this forum so sorry in advance. Just writing for some advice as to what you would reckon my VZ SSZ ute would be worth roughly? I'll write as much as I can so I can get a good answer! So I don't know much about cars but heres what I know about my car: It was re-sprayed (from original black) to a blackish, greenish, purpleish pearl kinda colour but it's been damaged again since (key marks down sides plus dint in bonnet, etc). It has 20inch wheels on it (can't remember brand). Runs fine and has never had major issues with the way it runs. It's auto. It's got about 220,000km's on it. Got the hard lid but needs repairing to get it back on there properly. The interior is pretty bad though (someone broke in and damaged it) gear shifter is broken, cup holders snapped off, rear view mirrow sapped off, indicator and wind screen wiper controls snapped off, some steering wheel buttons loose, battery & oil pressure gauge in middle of dash misaligned. Radio and temp control all work ok. Leather seats are still in good condition, carpet is ok. Needs heaps of work obviously and has 10 and a half months reg on it still. I haven't driven the car since mid September 2012 and on't need it anymore. Since all the interior damage though I am wondering what its worth roughly if anyone can help? Got no idea if it's worth my while fixing the interior and selling or selling as is at a cheaper price? DUNNO!! I'm stuck, got no idea and need advice! Thanks:)
    Cheers, Fiona.

Sell as is. Probably $5,000 at most, although others in the know may have different ideas.

Honestly a car yard willgive you jack squat for it and a private sale will also see you with similar money as Ian J stated.Friggin hell mate sounds like its had a tough trot, and you lost interest in it long ago,you should of sold it well before then.I suggest you stick it through one of the car auctions down your way, that way you are not dealing with people viewing it and trying to get it for next to nicks, because to be honest thats whats going to happen, and a car yard is only going to send it to auction(wholesale it) as they wont spend the money to bring it up to scratch to put it on the lot for sale, after all they have to provide warranty. Its a shame, but dont give it away too cheap, post a couple of picks mate, maybe someone on here might snap it up for the right money

Probably $2500 - $5000 Sounds a bit like a heap of junk. Very high 'mileage', poorly maintained, needs a heap spent on it to get it half respectable.

Yep your right there mate,I,m a firm believer in a cars value reflects the way in which it,s been looked after. You look after it and it looks after you come trade in time.Still interested in seeing what it looks like
