Deal of the century. As said, take it before they realise.

$4000 for a vs sedan??? grab the money and leave before they look at it again and realise what the car is actually worth.

Modifications and what you've done to your vehicle makes no difference to them unless you go on agreed value i think it is, as Insurance companies go off their "little red book" of total current values for vehicles....

Sounds like you got a good deal with yours.

See if you can take off anything you have put on it maybe?

yeah if you have the chance remove all mods, but not anything that would belong on the stock car

My dad got 4800 for a VS acclaim with 320k on the clock written off about 6 months ago. Went and brought a mint VX for 5k.
I'd be pretty happy with 4 grand but you can always check redbook and if it looks like your getting sold short it doesn't hurt to call up and see if they'll give you a bit more. It never hurts to ask

Id say take the $4k and run man , insurance companies always look to try and pay you as little as you can , but thats pretty much a good price on a stock vs sedan

Must of had an agreed value on the policy. Mates VS got written off, only got paid out just over 2grand. Mines insured for 5grand. And if you take $200 (scrap value) you can keep your car to :p
