be cheaper to go out and buy a vt ss with a 5.7 or a vx, forget the 5lt

theres a bit more involved in doing the conversion, i think you would have to get a new transmission/diff etc, not to mention wiring looms, computer, i dont know all the details but ive read plenty of times on here its too much of a head f%$k, but if you and your mate are good at pulling engines out then i say go for it! only thing is your ecotec with a few bolt ons is not that much slower than a 5lt

Yep.
Transmission, Xmember, Loom, PCM, Ignition moduel, Radiator, fuel lines and probably a bunch of other stuff I havent considered.

lol 50kgs is moot. Power and torque take care of it .

Just save your money and buy a V8 powered car, don't waste cash on the V6.
