    post? or paint?

post: i dont think u'll fit her in the mailbox..

Paint: full respray prolly looking at $2500 to $5000 all depending on what paint is used, metal flakes, and how much prep work is involved, full rub back to metal, windows out.. u may have to do a quick ring around.

it'll cost heaps. im guessing this is a full colour change from what you've got now? for a regular full colour-change re-spray you'd be looking at a minimum few grand (like 3k+).
but because you want black, which need's immaculately straight panels to go on or it'll look **** you'd be looking at another few grand ontop of that again - purely from the ammount of prep work a car needs if its being painted black.

    Fragile.

Ahh seriously considering doing it myself. I mean a few of my mates did it to their cars. Turned out really really good. But they went for matt colors.

I can tell you now, when we did my respray in rubens red (my cars stock color) we used two pack, it's got great gloss but man am I glad we put the many, many hours into prepping the car, I can pick a small spot or two that didn't turn out 200% but I then remember the whole car could look like that, lucky all the "not so good parts" are hidden, probably why we didn't prep them as well, kept missing them.
