Were the original VF Redline wheels similar to the VE Redline wheels, but black and staggered?

They look the same. The VF1 did have chrome versions of the 19 inch wheels for the darker coloured cars.

Yeah, polished alloy they are. 19 X 8.5 on the front and 19 X 9 on the rear.

You directly responded to “VF2 wheels were cast” with “not all were cast”, hence my misunderestimation.

The VF1 did have chrome versions of the 19 inch wheels for the darker coloured cars.

And OMFG were they hideous!
I was overjoyed when the dealer told us we’d have to go with MY15 wheels for our MY14, because they didn’t know what they’d done with the awful chromed monstrosities that’d originally come with it ...
