How to Change a Starter Motor

Im about to fit a new starter to my VZ Clubsport LS2 as its on the way 0ut, well the contacts in the solenoid are as it has clicked couple times. i am wondering if its possible to remove the 2 vertical mounting bolts plus the horizontal one at the front then pulling it out with all wires still attached, remove wiring when its clear of the header, clean up terminals and putting it back in position and fitting mounting bolts.
Ive read the above methods, but wondering if this method is possible. cheers

No idea but you are about to find out so then you can tell us but please
disconnect the battery before you start.
