My left mirror has some paint chipped off so im thinking about just grabbing one from the wreckers and replacing completly (maybe cheaper then getting it sprayed?)

Either way its an electric one, how do I remove it and put the new one in?

Thanks.

i think you need to remove the glass first.
if you have a gregory's manual it tells you but if not when i read it a couple of nights ago it went something like this:

adjust the mirror to its maximum up and inner position (for your left one put it up then to the right.)
should reveal a gap...using a small screw driver disconnect the plug and rotate the glass bit to come off

from there it might have screws to take it off or it might have to come off from the inside....not sure though

*Disconnect the negative cable from the battery.

*Carefully prise off the mirror trim cover and pull the demister duct up out of the door

*Remove the mirror assembly retaining (three screws), pull the mirror out and unplug the wiring connector

*refitting is the reverse of removal.

I think you also have to remove to door trim to get to the bottom screws.
