How to change VS Bonnet spring?

    Hi all, how do you change a VS Bonnet spring?

    If you mean the gas struts that hold the bonnet then you prop the bonnet open with a broomstick, and slide the spring clips off - this releases the ball and socket.

    I mean the bonnet lock spring?

    There are 2 springs in the lock - the one on the centralising pin and one which does the actual latching - I'd guess it's the latter you refer to?

    Yes the latching spring, how to replace it.
