You can turn it off on a VY (and VZ AFAIK) with at tech2 but not the VE :(

Seriously, there must be a way to disable it.

...I remember an old post here where somebody had it disabled.

Go to the wreckers and buy a seatbelt buckle and stick it it lol.

as stupid as this may sound, but there is soooo many ppl here do this, so now the DEALER sells them !

it's only the metal part.

or you may do the other trick, buckle up, THEN get on the chair, with the belt behined the headrest. .... but you'll look like a tool xD

P.S.: am I the only one who almost never hear it , a friend asked me if it's annoying , I didn't even know he was talking about the chime :D

Yeah - if I ever get around to it, I'll pull the buckle apart and see what is in there. Can't be hard to bypass if you set your mind to it.

Meh - that kind of defeats the whole thing. Just may as well plug in the seatbelt and be done with it.

For one thing, there's too much safety crap. If you are a dip-**** and don't wear your seatbelt then who gives a rats if you peg out or get fined; it's just crap so Holden can get a decent safety:thumbsup:. Its a waste of money as far as I'm concerned.

If ya want to reverse out of the garage the dumb alarm goes off unless you put it on; who's going to do that when ya have to get out of the car (seatbelt off) to lock the bluddy garage; back in the car seatbelt on; f---!:bang:

I'm byin a remote for the garage door; easy!:wax:

It can be turned off with Tech 2, we are only allowed to do it for Police vehicles though.

Yes, I recall that too, I think it was Tommo82 or Scotty but don't quote me on that.

It definitely wasn't me. However, I wouldn't be surprised if my seatbelt alarm was actually faulty and in effect disabled itself.......

Cheerio.
