Great thread !

I was playing with my menu & reset it to factory settings - now the beeps have come on !

The thing is - it was turned off before so wondering if there's any other way to do this

Where is the option to enable the police dash ?

Thanks SV6.07 :)

I got the 2 methods ... however both were not done on my car.

As the Beeps only came back on when I did a "Reset to Factory" in the menu for another reason !

This is why I am thinking the beeps must have been disabled some other way through the menu or police enable .

The Previous owner was a mechanic so might have known how to do it !

i know of three examples why someone wasn't wearing a seatbelt legally. One was a broken collarbone and had a doctors cert, one was a guy was too fat and it wouldn't reach and the other is over here pregnant women don't have to wear one if they don't want to. I guess if it's a permanent 'Non wear' situation like the fat guy you could plug it in but sit in front of it if you couldn't disconnect it.

Holden can disable it with a Tech 2 - it's just most dealers won't do it. There was one guy on here ages ago who managed to get it done..

So can someone clarify that disconnecting the white plug won't tamper with the air-bag and seat-belt pretensioner systems?
