Hey, been driving a while now, and the box is th350 not that it matters. Have read some stuff on down shifting a stage 2 skift kit, and read that it's not reccomended. As in not under acceleration. If thats the case i been doin it wrong for long long time. Anyone know the real deal on this? How come we don't have a tranny forum??

Mate Ive driven every auto Ive owned like a manual a lot of the time,including downshifting to help slow the car,and Ive never had a problem yet,so it cant be too bad for them.The VS Ive got has done 150,000 so far with me driving it like this and its auto is as good as the day I got it..I always keep my autos serviced regularly though,every 10,000 ks new filter and fluid.Even the handbook for the car says that you can use lower gears in the auto when going downhill to help slow the car.They wouldnt recommend doing this if it was bad.
