if you remove the battery or it goes flat this is how you program to get the steering wheel controls working with pioneer head unit turn source off and find the steering wheel controls in the menu there is a few youtube vids

Thanks for the Vid. I went through this a year or so ago. It was a mongrel to work out. IIRC someone might have posted a link like this one, which I used to get it working again.
