How To: HSV VX front 'air dam' needs fixing in place

My first post... been watching your info for years. My one-owner HSV VX Clubsport R8 front 'air dam' is yet again hanging off the front of the car - despite many pushes and prods and amateur mechanics trying to make it stay in place.
Q: Is there a 'work around' that others have tried? Regards Mike

Easy one would be to use cable ties.

Tried it - need something better. The standard screws and those nipper metal brads are hopeless. And I'm careful on driveways!
