[VT-VX] How to install a chrome shifter button in your VT/VX

Cheers. Button busted off at pin hole yesterday. With your instructions and a trip to the wreckers, it cost me $4 and an hour to fix.

Lucky you didn't take it to the mechanic. Would have cost you $100.00 to $150.00 depending on how much the company charges?

Hey, just using this thread to fix the button on my old vx before I get rid of it. I think I’ve found the pin rolling around the bottom (black plastic thing) but the pictures don’t seem to be working for me. Is it easy to figure out which way the pin goes?
