I know that the climate control only come out on the luxury models but I'm real keen to get it my car to change the centre console all the calais piano black pieces it's just way more appealing and looks way better I've read other threads and eveyones saying it's not worth it but I really want to fit it in mine would anyone know where I could get it done?

I have a feeling you may need a lot more parts than just the front console part as everything will be "automated" to some degree rather than via buttons or mechanical rods etc (although I am happy to be proven wrong there)
Would recommend finding/researching a few diagrams and manuals with an exploded view of all the parts and work out the differences.
Which may require large portions of the dash to be removed to make the change over. (hopefully that can get the ball rolling for you for your quest of climate control)

How much are you willing to spend? I havnt done it but im an auto sparky so know you will have to pull the whole dash out, remove your heater box to fit the new one. You will need to the wiring harness and bcm out of a donor car to suit. Climate control also has an outside temp reading which uses a sensor near the front bumper so you will need the engine bay harness that runs to that.

Dude, you need to get full harnesses from a V6 Calais, BCM, have it matched to your VIN. Then engine harness as well, but then there's the possibility the engine harnesses won't match pinouts of your model unless you have an LY7.
You need the entire interior removed, the entire HVAC is different as well. The automated HVAC work differently to manual HVAC. They have different internals. The rear harnesses will need swapping as well. The BCM operates more airbags than base models, so you will need the airbags as well. The Calais also have a different audio set up, so the rear harnesses will allow that to come together.

Have a AC guy degas the system. New Receiver dryer is then required as well.
$1000's of dollars is what this will cost.
Find a smashed Calais and do the work yourself over 12 months.

It's not something you can really put prices on in that way. Nobody sells kits for this, you have to hunt out the info/research and parts and do all the work yourself. Also worth asking how much your own time is worth.

How long is a piece of string?

Start by calling some local wreckers and get some prices of the parts you need first and go from there.
Im not gonna tell you how to spend your money but unless you do all the work yourself i dont see the point, better off just take your dash to get professionally painted if you want the piano black look or just sell your car and get a calais.

Since everyone's saying that there's no point then fair enough ill get it painted to the black look

As i said its your money, for the cost i just think your better off spending the money somewhere else.
I had a read through your other posts where you were asking about an engine swap from a vf or ve, thats a whole other can of worms lol that would involve splicing different engine harness to body harness, ecu and bcm communication headaches. Trust me no mechanic will want anything to do with that, also engineering issues if you want your car to be legal.
You also said your a P plater, here is my advice buy some nice wheels and tyres, maybe a lowering kit, decent stereo system. No point sinking thousands of dollars into engine swaps with a car over 200,000 ks when the is realistically only worth $4000

Very, very true.
But I will add that at 200,000km for a VZ, it is more likely around $1,500, ($3,000 if you can barter and bang like a devil!) I was not going to accept $1,240 on my VZ trade-in (195,000) for the swanky-lanky SV6. It was going to be $3,000, and that is the way it was!! We all needed a gin+++ after all that wrestling...

The fancy piano-black look is a bugger for attracting fingerprints and dust and dirt (the finish used in the VF n some trim, and some higher-spec VZs). An auto-detailer could do it with a specialised finish with a high-gloss wax finish (and it will cost a bit).
