to be clear this is a test of the facility so that's the test you need to pass?

To the OP, people have done stuff like this in the past - normally a coachbuilder will take it on (think stretch limos that kind of stuff) but yeah i'd love to see a convertible Monaro, that'd be sweet.

It would be rather interesting to know how far the Monaro Convertible (Marylin) actually progressed and whether TWR in conjunction with Holden did any virtual or physical crash tests during the developement... I'd thing $2M would include some virtual crash testing which is something a run of the mill stretch limo type coach builder simply wouldn't have the capacity to do....

And if one looks at old car into newer car crash tests as shown below, imagine how much worse it would be if you cut the roof off an old VT to turn it into a cheaply engineered convertable :eek:
