secondly, your car has dents in it, and the tacky red paint is just drawing peoples attention to that area of the car!

u know u drive a VL yeh, im sure that would have the od few bits of rust or dents

yeah, but I'm not painting bits of it in bright colours to draw attention to it.

What a pointless ****ing post... Got nothing nice to say, then **** off!

Looks good man, did mine last year with the rotors too. I didnt even sand or prep mine though, just a quick wipe with an old rag and the paint is still on strong!!!

agreed, no bang for buck watsoever.

Good write up tho and doesnt look too bad, each to their own. For me it highlights you have standard brakes...

im guessing you would need to get high heat paint?

and looks good man, might give it a go myself, dunno what colour tho, lol i dont have a colour theme, just black hehe.. maybe a blue...


does anyone have pics or more detailed info on painting the rotors?

I did the calipers on my vt ages ago, bright red kilrust paint was used and i never had a problem with it coming off. On another note, after reading through the whole thread, no one mentiond the fact that you shouldn't work on a car only supported by a jack. Use chassis stands! throwing your spare wheel under there won't save much, especially your undies when the car rolls off the jack and you sh*t yourself...
