    Hello

Once again my car was recently vandalised and had super glue spread all over my drivers window and the black strip shown below.
I used nail polish remover cause there was no glue on metal but only the glass and some on the black strip.

After very quickly wiping away the small amount of glue on the black strip, the strip appears to be dull (damaged) in the area I used the acetone. Can anybody let me know if there is a way to re-polish this plastic piece which I wouldv thought would not have reacted to the acetone? :(

    Appreciated!
