How to re-touch plastic guard

What would be the best way to do this cheap.

Has small sections that have flaked off.

I don't even know if the standard GM duco paint will stick to the plastic?

Or am I better off just leaving it so it does not look like a botched repair job.

Also being on plastic, would a professional repairer sand back etc, just like they do on metal?

a decent painted would rub it and spray the whole bar.

a no-so-decent painter would just paint that corner and blend it

you may get a bottle of touch up paint and brush it on by hand
