yeah probably easiest to fully remove, rather than partially remove (on the right side) the bumper.
I couldn't work out how to fully get off the side skirt, but removed most of the screws so I could pull it back to get to the guard bolts/screws.
You will need the right sized flat head screw driver to remove the torx screws holding in the bonnet strut to the top of the guard in the engine bay, support the bonnet with a piece of wood or something so it doesn't come down of your head.
After that it is just a matter of removing ALL of the bolts to get the guard off.
The hardest part is re fitting it and getting the panel gaps right.
