How to remove the rear vision mirror in a vs statesman..

    The mirrot effed up today the nut came off the screw or something.. How do I take it off without brwaking the windscreen? Does it just pull off or somerhing?

    If I remember correctly there is a clip that needs depressing and it slides off.
