get a gear/balancer puller, about $15 from supercheap, you place the three bolts in the three threaded holes in the balancer pulley and the threaded centre bolt that locates into the centre of the pulley needs to be tightened to pull the balancer off...
if you had trouble workin that out, wait till you get to the two philips head screws that hold the cam retaining plate in, you'll need an impact driver to remove them, if you snap em then it'll be fun and games with a bolt extractor. I recommend getting a can of liquid spanner and give them a squirt every 4-5 hours and another squirt before leaving it overnight before any attempt at removing them.
as for the rest of it, just follow your nose, oil pump + dizzy have to come off and lifters removed before you can slide the cam out... good luck, theyre a good motor to learn on....
