i really need step by step instructions to take out the front shockers. the bolt on mine has come loose at the bottom but i need to take apart the syspension to get to it. Anyone have any good instructions to help me out?

This is quite urgent, the shocks can just fall out.

Thread should be changed, removal of ball joint from strut can be a bastard, they dont just slip out.

Removal of ball joint by bashin it can damage it or the arm if your smashin away the wrong way.

I always put new ball joint is when replacing shocks.

Putting them in is no picnic either, they don't just tap in and you have to know the limits.

My last set I belted out of the strut then took the whole control arm down to the shock place and the pressed the ol ones out and put new ones in.

I have also done it without a press and they don't go in easy, you have to have the right setup, or some knowledge on what to do.

    cheers
