[VT-VX] How to retain steering wheel controls with Chinese aftermarket head unit

Hi guys if your buying an aftermarket head unit Chinese brands like erisin eonon xtrons etc.etc.and you want to retain your steering wheel control for vt and vx it's not that hard. STEP. 1. Unpack your head unit and find your steering wheel control wires usually with iso harness or they will all be in a separate little harness there will be 3 of them together marked ground key1 and key2 you will only need key1 and the ground wire.. STEP.2. Go to your factory radio plug strip back about 4 inches of tape..STEP.3 locate the 2 wires that you will need the 2 wires are as your looking at the plug from the front count to pin 5 starting left to right top row pin 5 is the grey wire with silver spots that is your ground wire then the last wire wich is pin 8 is a brown wire with white spots that is your signal wire. STEP.3 get 2 T connecter and tap in to those 2 wires with about 12 inches of wire. STEP.4. Connecting the wires...on your iso harness or wiring harness depends what the unit came with there will be a brake wire this wire is very important you must connect this wire together with the ground wire that will be with the key1 and key2 wires and you connect them to the grey wire with silver spots on your factory radio harness that you have tapped in to and the key1 wire to the brown wire with white spots on factory radio harness that you have tapped in .here are some pics of the wires that you will need.if you dont connect the brake wire to the ground wire the steering wheel controls will not work..when all connected up and your all ready to test go to the steering wheel controls on your unit press the button you desire on your steering wheel and the unit will tell you to select one on the unit select desired one just repeat all steps for all functions .
