hey guys,

looks like I will be coming into a bit of cash just before tax time :) so after I get my auto built I should have about 7k left over.

so the question is, if you had an ls1 with an exhaust, otr and tune already how would you spend 7k?

cam for sure, if you know the specs beforehand you can have your auto/stally built up to match

I have the mods you already have, but cant keep the wheels from spinning mid way thru the rev range when nailing it, I'd look at suspension, brakes and tyres, but that is just me!

it would be most of the way towards a 1900 PD blower yeah. depends if you can afford the supporting mods as well. If not, probably cam / heads, or a built engine from Texas Speed.

If you have that problem with minimal power I would look at better tyres.

hence my post. Minimal power would be the standard power. The above modes make a huge difference.

With $7k already in kitty, I'd be dipping into my savings and boosting it with a GT45. With that much cash as a starting point, why do things by halves?

That's one of the difference between a crap driver and a good one. Learning how to use the right foot progressively to feed in the power without spinning the wheels.
