How To Stop Rattles And Deadening The Sound

I am just wondering how to get all of these small rattles etc in my VT. I just put 6 x 9 in the back and splits in the front. But once you pump it a bit the car rattles and yeah. Not sure what i can do, I know i am going to take the 6 x 9's out and put some cusion rignt around them so its not metal on metal but what else can you do, is there any special **** you can use.... I have a similar problem in my VS. I have 2x10" subs in my boot which can REALLY rattle the car when they're turned up. What l've found is that if you have the windows all the way up or all the way down, they won't rattle. Nothing else (except my drivers side door handle) rattles so this solved my problem. What actually rattles in your car?
